At BVS, we prioritize your child's health alongside their intellectual and academic growth by integrating physical education into our curriculum and offering competitive sports and academies after school. Our programs are designed to instill lifelong healthy habits, improve fitness, enhance abilities in individual and team sports, and develop future-ready life skills. 

Additionally, visual and performing arts are integrated into our curriculum and offered as extracurricular options through the Fine Arts Academy (FAA). Our arts programs foster self-confidence, self-expression, and creativity, while also enhancing well-being, communication skills, and problem-solving through various artistic pursuits. At the end of each semester, the FAA hosts recitals, allowing students to showcase their progress and present their final artistic products to the community. The FAA is part of the regional Arts Inspired Network, providing opportunities for global exchanges and collaborative artistic projects.

Extraordinary Electives & Clubs to Elevate Real-World Skills

Students across all academic stages benefit from our diverse array of clubs and elective activities designed to enrich their educational experience and develop new skills and talents for university studies and future careers. Each club adds an extra hour to their regular schedules, with times varying from semester to semester. These enrichment classes are delivered by our specialist teachers and external partners who are experts in their fields. 

From entrepreneurship to journalism, comic book development, Model United Nations, programming, astronomy, visual and performing arts, study skills, practice for national Math Olympiads, and preparation for excelling in math and verbal admission exams, including the SAT for top Costa Rican universities and U.S. colleges, our students are spoiled for choice.
