As our students progress, we integrate the best international practices, US curricula, and the national curriculum approved by the Costa Rican Ministry of Public Education. 

American Curricula

Our English, Literacy, and Mathematics programs are taught in English and align with US Common Core standards. As Mathematics is a key focus at our school, our Elementary Math curriculum is advanced by one year to uphold our rigorous academic standards. Costa Rican Curriculum

Beginning in third grade, our Social Studies program focuses on local Costa Rican history and geography, emphasizing cartographic skills. P.E. and Sports

Our athletics program emphasizes sports such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, padel, track and field, and cheerleading, while also teaching soft skills like sportsmanship, discipline, and time management. Students have opportunities to lead teams and organize events, building leadership skills and responsibility. Elementary students can also participate in national and international competitions.

Performing Arts

Elementary School students receive four semesters of dramatic arts training, culminating in a major musical performance. They also participate in regular weekly music lessons.
