Inspired Summer Camp

A Unique Summer Camp experience:

We have designed a 15-day program travelling through some of the country's most beautiful destinations. Travel is a great way to acquire new skills, nourish our minds, and share new cultures. Campers will learn to travel from the Caribbean sea through mountains, forests, rivers, and volcanoes until they reach the pacific ocean. We will share leadership skills, work with local people on community and environmental-based projects, and see the county's hidden gems through incredible activities such as rainforest canopy high ropes, white water rafting, or hiking the volcanoes. All this is in hand with local experts and community leaders who will share success stories in sustainability, social development, innovation and peace with many partnering organizations and institutions. This experience can go towards your CAS project or written statement for university applications.

In this program, you will learn and experience:

Costa Rica, where two continents meet: Experience and visit five unique ecosystems and discover the rich flora and fauna in our pristine national parks.
Sharing Culture and Experiences: Learn from the locals and explore Costarican food and hospitality.
Community and Environmental Based Projects: Enjoy sustainable agriculture, animal reserves and connection with local people.
A New Way of Travel: Build independence through travel and adventure from the Caribbean to the Pacific Coast.

About Costa Rica:

Costa Rica, where 2 continents meet: biodiversity and cultural diversity.

Costa Rica is located in Central America, connecting North and South America. A democratic and peaceful country with no army since 1948, its location provides warm weather and many different microclimates. This small piece of land has all the necessary components to intrigue and continually satisfy the millions who visit each year. Costa Rica has extensive tourism offerings, including rainforests, volcanoes, rivers travelling through the mountains, beaches, national parks and forest reserves.

Accommodations

Lodging will be offered in 4-star hotels in each destination, with a single bed for each student in a double room with a private bathroom.

Hotels offer a great variety of services for the student's comfort: spacious rooms surrounded by gardens, Wi-Fi access, room service, a fitness centre, a restaurant, and an outdoor pool, among others.
